A family business spanning 5 generations.

Among the Bragards, textile know-how has been passed down from generation to generation for 4 centuries.
A little trip back in time to understand where our centuries-old expertise in manufacturing comes from...

Nicolas Bragard opens his tailoring workshop in Saint-Etienne-les-Remiremont in the Vosges 🌲
18741874
Marie Louise Thomas set up her own haberdashery and novelty business in Saulxures-sur-Moselotte to supplement the meager income from the family farm.
19031903
Her daughter Angèle took over and, after her marriage to Eugène Bragard, opened her shop in the village where she sold both ceremonial suits and work clothes.
19331933
His son Henri left the family business to start manufacturing innovative clothing for artisans, which he then sold to consumers. He created a butcher's apron in sturdy Vosges canvas that would soon be worn by the entire profession.
With his wife Simone, he developed his collections for all food trades and the company acquired a great national reputation.
19771977
Gilles Bragard created the Club des Chefs des Chefs, which brings together chefs from heads of state around the world. Assisted by his wife Monica, who designs all the collections, he expands the company internationally and creates eight subsidiaries in Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. Manufacturing is carried out by more than 1,000 seamstresses in the Vosges region.
19941994
Faced with fierce international competition, the company is approaching a financial partner who will enable it to ensure the necessary relocation of manufacturing. Gilles Bragard ran the company until 2012, when it was taken over by a Scandinavian investment fund. The workforce continued to decline, and the company's buyers left the historic Epinal site in 2015.

The activity is becoming more and more intense and requires more space.
We are renovating and reinvesting the 1450 m2 of the family factory, abandoned for almost 30 years.
New machines, new human and technical resources, it is (already) the beginning of a new era.
