Made in France in Épinal

The birth of Atelier TB is inseparable from the original ambition to contribute (on our humble scale) to the renaissance of the textile industry in the Vosges, a historic land of weaving. Made in a production site in Épinal that once employed nearly 1,000 seamstresses, your Vosges apron is woven, cut, assembled, and personalized on site. From braiding to the installation of snap fasteners, including embroidery, each step of the manufacturing process passes through the expert hands of our seamstresses. The result is a 100% made-in-France apron that combines ethics and style.

Why this choice of Made in France?
That's right, why buy a French apron that I could find cheaper almost everywhere?
A Made in France garment isn't just a red, white, and blue label sewn into a sleeve cuff or an apron bib. It's a committed product, one that promotes values and, beyond price, rethinks our relationship with consumption.
At Atelier TB, we participate at our level in the creation of jobs in France and in the preservation of centuries-old regional know-how. Nearly 20 pairs of hands from the Vosges work every day on the production of our products. When you buy an Atelier TB apron, you are rewarding an entire value chain. You are acquiring a durable , high- quality , ecological item that highlights French craftsmanship .

We have also been France Terre Textile approved since 2020. This textile label audits our production every year, through a third-party organization, to guarantee that at least 75% of the manufacturing stages are carried out in the French Textile Cradles (AGR).

And what about the environment?

Everyone knows that environmental issues have become the great challenge of our century. Considered the second most polluting industry in the world, the textile industry perfectly embodies the excesses of consumer society and its dramatic consequences for our planet. When we set up our workshop in 2018, the notion of carbon footprint quickly crept into each of our issues. Wanting to revive the French textile industry in the 21st century would make no sense without ensuring we limit our greenhouse gas emissions. Our aprons are designed from A to Z in Épinal and only travel the distance that separates our workshop from you. And we did the math: it's 810 km for a delivery to Biarritz or Brest, the two most distant metropolitan cities from our Épinal workshop. For an apron coming from China, it's nearly 10,000 kilometers, or 10 times more !

So, have we convinced you of the benefits of the Vosges apron? 😉
