The Club des Chefs des Chefs brings together the chefs of heads of state every year. This year, they are meeting in France.
The Club des Chefs des Chefs was born in 1977 when
Gilles Bragard , the "Couturier des Chefs" invited a few Chefs des Chefs to a friendly dinner. Their exchanges were so informative and friendly that they decided to create the Club des Chefs des Chefs.
Since then, the Chefs des Chefs have met each year in a different country, where they explore local gastronomy and culture. It's also an opportunity for them to meet and discuss the intricacies of their profession.

a busy schedule. We followed the Chefs of Chefs throughout this incredible week.
This year's welcome cocktail was marked by the induction of three new Chefs: Fabrice Desvignes, Chef to the President of the French Republic, Joseph Korson, Chef to the President of the Israeli Republic, and Santi Rosato, Chef to the President of the Italian Republic. As is traditional, they received their MGB jackets, embroidered with their names and the flags of their countries, from Guillaume Gomez, France's ambassador for gastronomy, thus formalizing their entry into the Club.
The Chefs of Chefs then headed to Epernay, to visit the oldest Champagne wine house: Champagne GOSSET as well as the city of Reims.

The next day, after the official photos, the press conference was held at Plaza Athénée, followed by a cocktail reception and then dinner alongside Jean-François Copé around a cheese buffet by Savencia & desserts by Pierre Hermé.

Early the next morning, the chefs were welcomed at Rungis by Stéphane Layani, President of Semmaris, before heading to the Élysée Palace for an official luncheon at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron. The evening was marked by the charity dinner, organized in the salons of the Quai d'Orsay, for the benefit of the Fondation École de Felix , a charitable institution led by Guillaume Gomez and recognized as being of public utility for its work in favor of the education and health of underprivileged children in Madagascar . On July 14, they were able to attend the traditional military parade in the presidential gallery.

For the second part of their stay, planned in the Landes region, the Chefs of Chefs enjoyed an exceptional tour of Château Lafite Rothschild and its cellars with Saskia de Rothschild. The next day, they headed to Montaut and the Maison Lafitte duck farm (foie gras) with its director Fabien Chevalier. The day ended at Michel Guérard's sumptuous residence, Château de Bachen, where the Chefs had the pleasure of enjoying a rump dinner in the middle of the gardens.

And it was on this relaxed note that the Chefs of Chefs returned to their respective countries, their heads full of memories and eager to know the destination that will be reserved for them next year.
